At the beginning of each school year, teachers tend to set rules to be applied by them and their students to avoid problems in the future.Like in schools online teaching requires rules that keep teaching goes smoothly. Some of the rules that I have used during online teaching are: setting real names, no students are allowed to attend a zoom session unless they are using their real names. Raising hand is a must to participate in the zoom sessions as in classes. The teacher is the one who control the screen and students are not allowed to write on it unless the teacher asks to. Microphones should be muted and unmuted only when students are allowed to talk. Students and teachers should set in a quite place and it is preferred to be alone in the room to ovoid disruptions.

Yes i agree with you we should set these rules with our students because it was a new things that we should learn them and help us as teachers to have a good communicate with students.
ReplyDeleteyes! It is important to set rules. Online learning is a challenge, so teachers must be prepared. Giving instruction to your students might help a lot.
ReplyDeleteOf course, it is very important to set rules and follow them during online classes, otherwise there will be some of disruption and confusion in the session, thus teachers will be not able to explain the lesson as they should, and students will be not able to understand well what they are taught.
ReplyDeleteYes, I totally agree with you. As rules are established in a real classroom,they should be also established in online classes. I like that you apply that in your online class and this will definitely help you a lot in explaining and help the students in concentrating.

ReplyDeleteputting the rools from the beginning of the new school year will facilitates the work on teacher and students togethet, beacuse they are all deal with this rules from the beginning, also it avoid wasting time.
